World Star Power is proud to have presented the Plovdiv Open Air Gala, a spectacular event that marked the 70th anniversary of Opera Plovdiv. Held at Central Square, this festive and free-entry concert brought together residents and visitors for an unforgettable celebration of music and artistry.
Highlights of the Show
Inspired by major European cities, this event was part of Opera Plovdiv’s annual open-air concerts, Classic Open Air, making opera accessible to all. It celebrated the profound legacy of Opera in Plovdiv and enriched the cultural tapestry of the city.
Supported by the Plovdiv Opera House Orchestra and their conductor Dian Tchabanov, Vasko Vassilev and Pamela Tan Nicholson, co-creators of the groundbreaking Trioperas, thrilled and touched the thousands who had started turning up since early afternoon to queue for seats at the show. They were not disappointed and at the end burst into rapturous, almost, riotous, applause after the stars bid farewell with a surprise duet of the Bee Gees' "How Deep Is Your Love".
